Okay I am no expert in identifying a real from fake but
these are few pointers that I always look upto whenever I am buying a product
that is necessarily not available in my country or a product with many fakes
out there.
I am not saying these are the only signs to identify fake
products from real once nor these are most accurate for all kind of products. I
usually look up for real vs. fake when I am buying something expensive, a
perfume, hair products and often cosmetics (high end).
SIGN 1: If price is too good to be true that’s coz it
really is too good to be true:
Whatever product you are buying always compare the price
with brand website itself. For chi silk infusion 6oz. it should be somewhere
around $22 to $26. Ofcourse the price could be much lower for real deal as well
but only when some sale is going on or you have a coupon code. Like black
Friday sale or Christmas sale will always help you get the product in half
price. But if for no reason you are getting it way too cheap than only 2
reasons can be there: product is way closer to expiry date or a fake.
SIGN 2: Compare the product image (brand logo) on seller
website to that of original website:
Now here comes the advantage of copyright for the customers.
Chi silk infusion has a pattern in which the brand name is depicted on bottle
with capital C H I and a catonic Hydration Interlink. Look closer and compare
it with original picture. If you find any disorientation in pattern of symbol
of brand than it will be a fake. (Keep in mind if there is any newer or older
version of actual product while comparing).
SIGN 3: If any product as these symbols depicting
discarded, best before and recycling, its authentic:
Check to the side image attached. This works for all/any
kind of product. If any product outer cover or the product itself has image of
best before months, discard and throw and recycling symbol it is 100% genuine.
SIGN 4: Seal- MOST IMPORTANTE:
Chi silk infusion comes with a seal which you will have to
open by first removing the red cap from the bottle.

SIGN 5: Always check the rating of the seller and reviews
before buying from him:
Whenever you are buying a product online where multiple
seller are selling similar item, always go for seller rating. Check the
reviews, what other customer think about them.
And apart from this follow the saying you can never be too
careful..hehe..Hope this article help you guys in some little way.
