Yes, I am talking about baking your face, not in a oven but with makeup. Haven't heard that before ? Then let me start from the start. Baking a face makeup isn't new it was there since before you were born but thanks to highlighting and contouring technique that it is gaining so much importance now a days. Also thanks to Kim Kardashian to popularize it for us. Ya, i m done thanking. This technique is also called cooking method wherein after highlighting the face with concealer loose powder is applied at highlighted areas and left for setting in. So, the highlighted areas pop out.
Baking enhances your face in a magnificent way and you look all ready with your ramp rocking attitude. Now comes the TRICKS & TECHNIQUES to apply it.
THINGS YOU NEED - Cosmetic sponge, Foundation, Concealer, Loose powder & Powder brush
STEPS OF BAKING IT UP -
STEP 1 : Apply foundation with a damp cosmetic sponge then apply creamy concealer that's lighter than your complexion, on the areas of the face to be highlighted (under eyes, center of your nose, chin, forehead) ,with the same sponge for the flawless finish. Don't set it with a compact powder.
STEP 2 : With the same sponge pick up some loose powder generously and apply it to the areas which you highlighted with concealing. You need excess amount of loose powder it to bake it up.
STEP 3 : Once you have applied the loose powder let it bake or set in for 10 to 15 minutes. This part is the cooking part where the concealer meets the powder and it melts. After 10 to 15 minutes brush off the excess powder and blend away any harsh edges.
RESULT : You have a brightened flawless face and looks all chiseled like a model.
